Dailux is a Dutch company specializing in custom luxury window coverings. We design, produce, and install curtains, Roman blinds, and Venetian blinds that are custom-made for your windows. Our distinguishing feature is the combination of high quality, personalized in-home service, and exceptionally fast delivery — including a unique express delivery where your custom curtains can be with you within 92 hours. Our production takes place in the Netherlands and Europe, with craftsmanship and precision at its core.

How do I measure curtains?

Dailux is located at Industrieweg 14 in Culemborg and Cruquisweg 1 in Heemstede. These are not visiting addresses; we work by appointment and are happy to visit you at home for a free consultation and measurement appointment.

We deliver our custom window coverings throughout the Netherlands. Our measurement and installation service is available throughout the Randstad and surrounding areas, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and their surroundings.

How does the free measurement service work?

You can schedule a free, no-obligation appointment online via our website. One of our specialists will visit your home, bring an extensive selection of fabric and color samples, and professionally measure your windows. We will provide you with personalized advice on fabrics, colors, and hanging systems. Within 48 hours of the appointment, you will receive a clear, no-obligation quotation.

How do I measure curtains myself if I don't want a measuring appointment?

If you wish to measure yourself, follow these steps:

Step 1: Determine the type of mounting. Do you have curtain tracks or a curtain rod? For tracks, measure the length of the track. For a rod with rings, measure the length of the rod, excluding the finials.

Step 2: Measure the width. Measure the full width of your tracks or rod.

Step 3: Measure the height. For tracks: measure from the bottom of the track to the desired length. For a rod with rings: measure from the bottom of the rings to the desired length. Do you want the curtains to reach the windowsill? Then end 1-2 cm above the windowsill. Do you want them to reach the floor? Then leave a 1-3 cm gap above the floor.

How does the ordering process work at Dailux?

The ordering process at Dailux consists of four steps:

1. Free advice & in-home measurement: A specialist will visit you with samples and measure your windows.

2. Quote & acceptance: You will usually receive a no-obligation quote on the same day. Do you accept? Then you select your payment method.

3. Production & updates: After payment, your order will be put into production. You will receive updates on the progress.

4. Delivery & installation: You choose home delivery (including Track & Trace) or our professional installation service.

Can I also order online without a measurement appointment?

Yes, that is possible. You can order products directly through our webshop. You enter the desired dimensions yourself. Should you have any questions about this, we would be happy to assist you: info@dailux.nl

What is expedited delivery and how does it work?

Our express delivery is unique in the market: your custom-made pleated blinds are produced and delivered within 92 hours. This is possible thanks to our own Dutch factory with a special express production process. Please note: express capacity is limited. Contact us to inquire about availability and costs.

Do you also offer an installation service?

Yes. If you choose installation by Dailux, our experienced installer will bring the curtains and professionally install them at your home. You don't have to worry about a thing; we ensure a perfect end result. The installation appointment will be scheduled as soon as the curtains are ready.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept a wide range of payment methods, including iDEAL, Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Union Pay, and Shop Pay. Additionally, we offer the option to pay afterwards or in installments via Klarna.

Can I pay afterwards or in installments?

Yes, via Klarna you can pay for your order afterwards or in instalments. This makes it easier to invest in quality window coverings for your home.
