Step 1: Choose the type of confirmation

First decide how you want to hang the curtains:

• Curtain rails → measure the length of the rails.
• Curtain rod with rings → measure the length of the rod, excluding the decorative finials.
• Curtain rod with loops or rings → measure the total width of the rod.

Step 2: Measure width

• Measure the full width of your rail or rod.
  

📌 Tip: When measuring curtains, it is better to take a slightly wider measurement so that no light comes through.

Step 3: Measure height/length

This depends on the hanging method:

• For a rail → measure from the bottom of the rail to the desired length.
• For a rod with rings → measure from the bottom of the rings to the desired length.
• For a rod with loops or eyelets → measure from the top of the rod.

💡 Common lengths:

• Up to the windowsill → end 1-2 cm above the windowsill.
• To the floor → keep 1-3 cm clearance above the floor for a neat appearance.

Als u zelf wilt inmeten, volgt u deze stappen:

Stap 1: Bepaal het type bevestiging. Heeft u gordijnrails of een gordijnroede? Bij rails meet u de lengte van de rail. Bij een roede met ringen meet u de lengte van de roede exclusief de sierknoppen.

Stap 2: Meet de breedte. Meet de volledige breedte van uw rails of roede.

Stap 3: Meet de hoogte. Bij rails: meet van de onderkant van de rail tot de gewenste lengte. Bij een roede met ringen: meet van de onderkant van de ringen tot de gewenste lengte. Wilt u de gordijnen tot de vensterbank? Eindig dan 1-2 cm boven de vensterbank. Wilt u ze tot de vloer? Houd dan 1-3 cm speling boven de vloer.
